Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) for a facility in the area. This position involves preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications, changing dressings, inserting catheters, initiating intravenous (IV) therapy, adjusting specialized medical equipment, interpreting and recording measurements, monitoring patients' vital signs, and reporting adverse reactions to medications promptly. The role requires providing high-quality care on a medical surgical floor, supporting patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma State Nursing license or a compact license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, recent one year of medical surgical nursing experience, and current skills checklist pertinent to the specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Recent traveler experience.
• Certifications: NIH, BLS (AHA).
• Start Date: 10/22/2026.
• End Date: 01/21/2027.
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years. The assignment includes working six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule period. Local candidates may be considered for a reduced rate.
