Job Description
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekdays and some weekends (every other weekend).

Assignment Details

Patient ratios estimated at 1:3. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications preferred
• Epic experience required
• Skills required: Conscious sedation, vents, and telemetry

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting
• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care
