Mechanical Assembler

This position is to plan and perform highly diversified functions necessary to assemble, disassemble, hydrotest, performance test, mount, align and pipe a wide variety of assemblies, rotors and equipment.

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Your Challenge:

1. Work under supervision and receive instructions from appropriate supervision. Work instructions will be both written and verbal, utilizing drawings, procedures and/or sketches
2. Make decisions involving initiative and judgement to assemble, disassemble, maintain traceability, hydrotest equipment, mount, align and test a wide variety of equipment in a wide variety of test arrangements
3. Setup, operate and maintain various types of equipment singly or in parallel. Equipment includes, but is not limited to: Hand held tools, Measuring equipment, Mounting/Piping machines/tools, Machine tools, Welding Equipment, Pneumatic tools, Gages, Meters, Air/Shot blast equipment
4. Operate all material handling equipment

What You Bring:

• Must be a US citizen and be able to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance
• Strong mechanical aptitude - automotive, small engine repairs, rotating equipment
• Proficient in reading blueprint, drawings and procedures
• Welding skills would be an asset
