# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: September 22, 2026
Location: Arlington, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 guaranteed hours per week | 6:1 patient ratio | Day and night shifts available | Floating may be required based on hospital needs Highlights:

• 30-bed acute care medical-surgical unit with experienced, tenured staff
• Diverse patient population including post-surgical cases (cholecystectomy, cystoscopy with stent placement), pain management, and CIWA protocols
• Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
• Supportive team structure with dedicated charge nurses, PCTs, and unit coordinators on every shift
• No on-call requirement
• Fast-paced, collaborative environment ideal for energetic, team-oriented professionals

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• BLS certification required
• Medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience required
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
