Job Description

The Automotive Retail Salesperson is a dynamic and sales-focused role crucial to our team's success. This position entails providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone, with the goal of meeting and exceeding customer needs. You will use your energetic demeanor to sell the visit, persuading potential customers to engage with our automotive services. Through effective communication skills, you will build strong relationships with customers, promote our products and services, and establish clear time commitments between technicians and customers for service appointments. Additionally, the Retail Salesperson conducts transaction procedures with precision and efficiency, ensuring a seamless experience for customers throughout their visit. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales and customer service to thrive in a fast-paced automotive retail environment while contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Pay Range: $19.20 - $28.68

Responsibilities

The Retail Salesperson at Bridgestone Retail Operations is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of tires and automotive services. Responsibilities include:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Explain product features, benefits, and warranties clearly and accurately.
• Prepare and present sales quotes and estimates to customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and financing.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and showroom.
• Stock shelves and display products according to company standards.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Schedule appointments for automotive services.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and promotions.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven retail sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to succeed in a retail environment.
• 2 years of consumer retail sales experience.
• Must be able to communicate with and assist customers in the areas of sales and complaints to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
• Problem solving skills as it relates to customer complaints.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
