Childcare Staff

Description Job Summary Childcare Staff oversee the safety and well-being of all children and Transform lives with the truth of Jesus. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Duties/Responsibilities Follow all safety rules set in place by Green Acres Baptist Church. Must be engaging with all children at eye level. Follow all lesson plans set in place by the coordinator. Report all incidents to the coordinator at the time of occurrence. Must be on time for all shifts. Must be dressed in appropriate and approved attire. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities Patience and Flexibility: Being adaptable and patient with children's varying needs. Communication Skills Effectively communicating with children, parents, and colleagues. Time Management: Managing multiple tasks and maintaining a structured environment. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent-required. Childcare experience preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and or standing Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times. Must be able to sit, stand, and squat.
