Job Description This insurance company is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join a newly formed centralized AI team supporting multiple business units. You will partner directly with broker and underwriting teams to gather requirements, identify high-value AI use cases, and rapidly prototype solutions in a secure AI sandbox environment. Once validated, you will drive solutions through production deployment, making key decisions around architecture, hosting, scalability, and performance. The role includes building LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, and AI agents while contributing reusable frameworks and promoting best practices across teams. An excellent candidate has hands‑on experience delivering production AI solutions, strong enterprise engineering judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, with added value from experience in tools like LangChain, Claude, and regulated environments. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2–3+ years in AI/ML development Proven experience with at least one AI solution in production Strong programming experience in Python plus React, Node.js, or .NET Experience with LLM integrations (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude) Hands‑on experience building RAG pipelines and using frameworks like LangChain Experience making enterprise-level deployment decisions (cloud hosting, scalability, latency, cost optimization) Knowledge of MLOps practices (model monitoring, versioning, performance tuning) Experience leading development efforts or mentoring engineers Ability to gather requirements directly from business teams and translate into solutions Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset Familiarity with AI sandbox environments for prototyping and experimentation Experience building AI agents and integrating via APIs/webhooks Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Applied Epic, or Duck Creek Background in insurance or other regulated industries (HIPAA, claims, underwriting) #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
