Cyber Security Specialist

Focusing on defensive operations and rapid risk reduction, the contract Cyber Defense Specialist will engage in threat hunting, detection engineering, and security monitoring while working remotely for a duration of 6+ months. Key responsibilities Conduct threat hunting and detection engineering to identify potential security threats Manage log collection and normalization for effective security monitoring Develop and tune alerts while performing gap analysis within cyber defense programs Required qualifications Experience in threat hunting and detection engineering Proficiency in log collection and normalization techniques Knowledge of security monitoring practices and IOC blocking Familiarity with alert development and tuning processes Understanding of gap analysis within cyber defense programs
