Pay: $20.00$21.00/hour Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Location: Norcross, GA Duration: 3-Month Assignment

Position Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure materials are safely stored and entered into the ERP system. The ideal candidate has warehouse receiving experience, forklift certification, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Receive materials into SAP/ERP and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Label, organize, and put away inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Report shipment discrepancies or damaged materials to the Receiving Lead and Purchasing.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Perform inventory transfers and warehouse transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area following 5S and OSHA standards.
• Accurately complete receiving paperwork and documentation.
• Participate in daily team meetings and safety discussions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of warehouse, receiving, manufacturing, or distribution experience.
• Current forklift certification with at least 3 years of operating experience.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP system preferred.
• Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and other industrial conditions.
• Wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
