CNA - Hospital/Clinic

Job Summary:
Provide dedicated nursing assistant support within a children's specialized long-term care facility, ensuring compassionate care to a complex patient population. This role involves assisting with daily activities and maintaining safety standards across various patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Support with mobility and positioning to prevent complications.
• Comply with shift and holiday scheduling requirements, including working 2 out of 3 holidays.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid CNA certification at the time of submission.
• Have at least 2 years of related experience in a pediatric or long-term care setting.
• Demonstrate basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Maintain active NJ or Compact state license.
• Capable of working night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
• Willingness to work every other weekend and provide documentation for requested time-off.
