SHIFT LEAD

Overview

As a

Shift Lead , you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Hourly Pay:
$21.00-22.00/hr
Shift(s):
2nd Shift: Tuesday - Friday 3:00pm - 1:30am

Chambersburg, PA 17202
What Youll Do

Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
Check to make sure loads are secure
Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
Perform basic financial data entry
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What Youll Need

1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
High School diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
Forklift certification

Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths
Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
