Cashier- Part time

Role Overview As a Cashier, you provide fast and friendly service, process transactions, answer questions, promote loyalty program, and ensure customers leave positive. Responsibilities Process sales transactions accurately, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging products. Deliver exceptional, personalized service by greeting, engaging, building relationships, and informing about products and services. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge. Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment. Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 1–3 years of work experience in retail (1+ year preferred). Passion for customer service and teamwork. Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Physical Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older. Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day. Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets, and climb ladders to lift 50lb. overhead repeatedly. May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions during the workday.
