Make a difference supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in the Fort Worth area. This full-time, contract opportunity places you on-site within a welcoming school environment for the academic year. You’ll focus on delivering high-quality speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students at one designated school site, working as part of a collaborative educational team.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in Texas required
  • School-based SLPA experience strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required
  • Comfortable working with K-12 student populations
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting for TEA credentialing (may take up to 10 business days)
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language support under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement therapy activities and individualized education plans for students
  • Accurately document student progress and communicate results to supervising SLP and educational teams
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and student-focused planning
  • Support 1 school site with an assigned K-12 caseload
