This is a great opportunity for an experienced public accounting tax professional who wants strong work-life balance, meaningful client exposure, and a clear path to Director and ultimately Partner.Why This Opportunity Stands OutClear advancement path to Director and PartnerHybrid schedule – 3 days in office / 2 days remote outside of tax seasonComp time for hours worked beyond required tax-season minimumsHalf-day Fridays during June and JulyDirect exposure to Partners and key client relationshipsLong-established firm with a stable and diverse client baseStrong benefits including health insurance, retirement benefits, PTO, life/disability insurance, and tuition reimbursementResponsibilities of the Senior Tax ManagerManage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returnsProvide tax planning, research, and advisory services across federal, state, and local tax mattersManage key client relationships and multiple tax engagementsWork directly with Partners on complex tax issues and strategiesReview staff work and provide technical guidance, training, and mentorshipManage engagement workflow, deadlines, priorities, and deliverablesIdentify opportunities to improve tax processes, efficiency, and client serviceStay current on changes in federal, state, and local tax regulationsQualifications of the Senior Tax ManagerActive CPA license requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting8+ years of recent public accounting tax experienceTax review and supervisory/management experienceStrong experience with individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary returnsStrong tax planning, research, and analytical skillsExperience managing client relationships and multiple engagementsCCH Axcess Tax experience strongly preferredCompensation of the Senior Tax Manager $130,000–$175,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
