A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Chattanooga area is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to lead complex client relationships and help shape its tax practice. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth families, lead and develop teams, and have a real path to Director or Partner.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth families, lead and develop teams, and have a real path to Director or Partner.
What You'll Do
- Oversee a large portfolio of complex business and individual clients
- Provide final-level review of complex returns and planning deliverables
- Lead tax planning, entity structuring, and transaction-related tax work
- Address multistate, trust, and specialty tax matters as needed
- Represent clients before taxing authorities
- Manage engagement economics, billing, and realization
- Lead, coach, and develop managers, seniors, and staff
- Drive business development and expand existing relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus
- 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license (required)
- Deep technical knowledge of pass-through, corporate, and individual taxation
- A track record of managing teams and client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business development
- Uncompromising integrity
- Base salary of $105,000 - $135,000, depending on experience
