Registered Behavior Technician - North Schools

Overview Connections Behavior is in search of Behavior Technicians to work with children and adolescents in school-based settings in the North School Districts consisting of Lake Washington, Northshore, Shoreline, Issaquah, Lynnwood, Everett, Mukilteo, Kirkland, Bellevue. Connections contracts with several school districts to provide 1:1 support to children and adolescents with emotion behavior disorders, autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors. NO weekend work is required. This is an entry level position where you will receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This is a great position for those interested in autism, psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, mental health, para education, and teaching to expand their careers and learn about the field of ABA. Job Responsibilities Work 1:1 with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and/or emotional behavior disorders Maintain a safe environment for all students and staff members Follow behavior plans and acquisition plans created by a BCBA Take data on all target behaviors Attend team meetings Debrief with teachers daily Write daily session notes Collaborate with BCBA during observations Benefits Competitive Pay Yearly raises Paid training Opportunities for advancement Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Mileage reimbursement Paid Time Off Minimum Qualifications High school Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree preferred.
