Production Technician

The Panther Group is seeking a Production Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Franklin, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a production/shop environment.The Production Technician will support day-to-day manufacturing operations by preparing workstations, handling and moving materials, operating production equipment, and assisting with the assembly and packaging of finished products.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organize workstations for production activities.Press and process ceramic tiles.Operate buffing equipment.Scrape and finish ceramic tiles as needed.Pack and prepare finished products for shipment.Build Armor mats.Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 25 lbs.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow established production procedures and safety guidelines.Assist with general shop-floor and production activities as needed.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.QualificationsPrevious production or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.Positive, dependable, and eager-to-work attitude.Comfortable working on a manufacturing/shop floor.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a production environment.Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.Pay up to $23 per hour W2 depending on experience#INDENG #J-18808-Ljbffr The Panther Group
