Location: Cabazon, CA
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

As a Production Technician , you will play a critical role in supporting daily production operations, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring product quality standards are met. Successful candidates will be team-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to contribute to operational success.

Position Overview

The Production Technician is responsible for supporting production line operations, maintaining workplace organization, identifying quality issues, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives. This Production Technician role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and participate in safety observation programs.
• Communicate promptly and effectively when issues arise that impact operational standards or procedures.
• Meet or exceed key performance metrics, including efficiency, production goals, and downtime reduction.
• Inspect various bottle types and determine whether materials should be scrapped.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to maximize production output and efficiency.
• Attend scheduled shift meetings, team meetings, and plant-wide meetings.
• Continuously monitor and improve line performance alongside fellow technicians and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
• Execute duties with urgency while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Operate baling equipment and dispose of scrap bottles in designated dumpsters.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• Previous experience in a clean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work the assigned shift, including startup and shift handoff meetings.
• Experience with high-speed production equipment and/or basic maintenance is preferred.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including face-to-face and radio communication.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred, but training is available for qualified candidates.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature changes and outdoor weather exposure when required.
