Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams and adherence to clinical protocols to deliver high-quality perioperative care. Job Details Position Description: Provides nursing support in the outpatient surgical services department, with responsibilities including IV starts, patient assessments, surgical preparation, and discharge instructions. Candidates must have prior experience in surgery departments and familiarity with pre- and post-operative care procedures. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and current ability to work in an outpatient surgical setting. Education background and at least 1 year of experience in surgical or perioperative care are expected. Schedule: Days shift from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, working 5 days per week, minimum of 36 hours weekly. Additional Information: Candidates should possess IV start skills and experience with surgical preparation and recovery processes. This role involves weekend work and adherence to specific unit policies and dress code. Float: Float rotation may be required.
