Physical Therapist (PT) Acute Care Hospital

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a dynamic acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings, with a preference for those with inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience. This position requires a strong team player who is self-directed and has a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on therapy goals and home exercise programs.
Document patient care in compliance with facility policies and standards.

Qualifications

Current Washington State Physical Therapist license is required.
Acute care experience is essential; inpatient rehabilitation experience is a plus.
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Exhibit self-direction and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule

Day shifts available: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00).
Weekend work may be required occasionally to cover staffing needs.
Floating between units may occur as needed.
