Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) registered nurse (RN) position located in a post-acute care setting. The role involves providing nursing care for a diverse patient population, including residents with memory care, dementia, and orthopedic conditions. The position operates on a rotating shift schedule, with responsibilities spanning day and evening shifts, and requires adherence to established clinical and operational protocols.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Rotating shifts, including days (6 a.m. 2 p.m.), evenings (2 p.m. 10 p.m.), with a combination of both.
• Weekly Schedule: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with work scheduled every other weekend and holiday.
• Duration: 13-week assignment starting 10/12/2026 and ending 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in a Long Term Care or related setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records, familiarity with dementia and memory care patients.
• Additional Information:
  • No on-call or callback responsibilities.
  • Orientation includes building familiarization, lifts, and clinical protocols, typically lasting 2-4 hours.
  • Common patient diagnoses include dementia, orthopedic issues, and memory impairments.
  • Overtime may be available at the organization's discretion.
  • The assignment supports the use of LPNs as applicable.
