CT Technologist

Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT/Xray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 or 10 hour shifts + every 3rd or 4th weekend Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: No specific license required to submit Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT - CT (preferred) Must-Have: Solid CT experience, x-ray and CT knowledge/skills Description: Candidates must have solid experience in CT technology and x-ray procedures. The position requires knowledge of C-arm usage for emergency surgical cases. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, and PACS, particularly McKesson, is essential. The departmental equipment includes a Siemens 128 slice CT scanner and Siemens Ysio X-ray. The department operates in various settings, including ambulatory, outpatient, inpatient, and ER. There is a significant focus on trauma cases due to proximity to a major highway. Successful candidates should possess good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Weekend shifts typically rotate every third or fourth weekend. There may be a call requirement if staffing is short.
