Crop Insurance Agent/Commodity Broker

Northern Ag a division of Border Bank is seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Crop Insurance Agent/Commodity Broker to join our team in Roseau, Minnesota. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: General knowledge of and experience in agriculture, insurance, sales, and/or marketing. Strong project management and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Obtain a Minnesota insurance license by successfully passing the MN agent licensing exam and the Series 3 exam to become a licensed AP (broker) within the first 12 months of employment (all licensing fees paid by Northern Ag). Building and managing a personal crop insurance client portfolio. Supporting and servicing existing crop insurance customers. Developing and expanding a commodity marketing client base. Assisting current marketing clients with their risk management and marketing needs. Preparing and distributing weekly analytical market assessments for clients. Supporting local advertising and promotional campaigns. Maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
