Position Overview The Transportation Analyst provides key financial and analytical insights across corporate logistics, warehouse logistics, and distribution departments. The role is supported by digital investment and utilizes tools to provide greater insights and dynamic reporting to drive operational achievement. The analyst is responsible for weekly, bi‑weekly, and period financial reporting supporting day‑to‑day management and the S&OP process. The analyst will support the Manager of Digital Logistics & COE with any ad‑hoc requests focused on driving efficiency and reducing year‑over‑year costs. This role requires a digitally savvy, data‑driven leader who looks for ways to improve reporting and visibility to drive stronger accountability. Position Responsibilities Develop weekly, period, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting of logistics performance Interact with bakery, regional, and corporate team members to provide analytical logistics performance data and insights Develop materials and insights for the bi‑weekly logistics performance calls, regional logistics performance meetings, and ad‑hoc requests Create and maintain reporting dashboards using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools while partnering with the technical product owner and digital products team members The following roles and responsibilities can vary by the individual logistics performance manager: Brokerage: maintain brokerage capability including strategy, new carrier onboarding, carrier quotation participation, and all brokerage‑related reporting/value tracking. Serve as the single point person that brokers all planned and unplanned brokerage freight needs Backhaul: maintain backhaul capability including strategy, strong relationship with Procurement, evaluating opportunities across brokerage or own assets, and using the brokerage tool for quotation and reporting/value tracking Warehouse Frozen Network: provide transportation support for warehouse operations, managing inbound and outbound loads to oversee the frozen network Budget: provide insights and opportunities on the corporate logistics budget each period and share with key corporate logistics leaders Display a professional and courteous attitude to co‑workers, supervisors, and the carrier community at all times Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes‑Oxley, Safety, etc.) Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management, including but not limited to maintaining work schedules, adhering to attendance policies, and following applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures Preferred Qualifications Authorization to work in the United States Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the organization Willingness to adapt to different work settings as required by the schedule Extremely good organizational skills with the ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read and review correspondence Consistency in attending work on a regular and reliable basis Entrepreneurship, leadership, attention to detail, analytical skills, and creative thinking Essential Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in operations, logistics, or another supply‑chain management related field Minimum of two years of shipping and relay experience Salary Range: $58,800 – $60,000 We offer a competitive salary up to $60 k and an excellent total rewards package.
