IT Support Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support to employees and assist with the organization's technology systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to users with different levels of technical experience. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other approved equipment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, connectivity, and application issues. Install, configure, update, and maintain computers and approved software. Assist employees with account access, password issues, and basic system configuration. Respond to IT support requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. IT certification, technical training, or an associate degree in Information Technology is preferred. Previous experience in IT support, help desk, technical support, or a related role is preferred. Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office, email systems, printers, and common business applications. Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and meet deadlines.
