Job Description

CLASS A CDL/General Labor/Equipment Operator

Reports to: Operations Manager

Essential Duties:

• On time deliveries, pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Responsible for transporting of heavy haul equipment and materials transported to locations or job sites.
• Class A manual transmission.
• Keeping your vehicle clean and ensuring maintenance.
• Maintain up to date medical card.
• We also offer paid vacation/PTO days as well a per diem

Essential Functions:

• Drive a company vehicle while on duty in a legal, safe and professional manner.
• Responsible for loading, securing and unloading equipment.
• Comply with all DOT laws.
• Verify loads for accuracy.
• Report any defects or deficiencies with truck or trailer or load to their direct supervisor immediately and prior to leaving shop/location.
• Log all hours on duty, driving and off duty legally.
• Perform tasks in teams and as solo.
• Present yourself and represent Titan in a professional manner.
• Maintain appropriate work relationships.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Help in other divisions and other tasks from time to time as needed.
• Run trash dumpster to landfill when needed.
• Wash and patch containment when CDL duties are not needed.
• Deliver equipment and material to pad for full site jobs and stay to help as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of DOT regulations
• Load Securement
• Ability to load and unload equipment such as manlifts, loaders, telehandlers
• Ability to drive a Company Vehicle in a legal, safe and professional manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and customers.
• Knowledge of FMCSA policies

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required. Basic math skills required

Job Experience: 2+ yrs. driving experience, 1+ yrs. load securement experience. CLASS A CDL, Current Med Card

Computer Proficiency: Ability to utilize timekeeping system, smart phone, and some computer skills

Training: Necessary training provided by Titan Solutions

Working & Physical Conditions:

• Long periods of driving, standing, crouching, lifting and bending
• Capability of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat/cold/wind/rain/snow.
• Must pass pre-employment fit test
• Must posses Class A CDL with current Med-Card

Travel Requirements: May be required out of town/state for up to 2 weeks at a time or longer travel up to 25% of time

Pay Range: Starting $27.00 - $35.00
