The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and cross cultural perspectives. Faculty members at Inver Hills are professionally active scholars who participate in departmental and campus wide activities to enhance their disciplines, promote interdisciplinary discourse and collaboration, and advance the college mission. Find out more about the program here: include day, evening, and weekend hours; and offsite locations.Salary Range:Faculty assigned less than 5 credits: Per credit rate of $775 - $1650.Faculty assigned 5 or more credits total: $43,067 - $96,601 Annually (Based upon 1.0 FTE of 30 credits per years. Pay will be prorated, based upon credit load). Salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 MSCF Contract, and conducted by the Minnesota State System Office. Initial placement is limited to the step range permitted for new faculty under the MSCF salary schedule.Minimum QualificationsEducation RequirementBachelor degree in nursingOccupational Experience RequirementFour full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse.Recency RequirementOne year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.Professional RequirementCurrent Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) licenseOther Requirements:Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments.Preferred Qualification:Teaching experienceRecent acute care medical surgical nursing experience or long term care experienceUnderstanding of holistic health and healing principlesHigher education teaching experience with diverse student populationsExperience with learning communities or team teachingExperience in curriculum developmentExperience incorporating technology into curriculum delivery, including web enhanced and online instructionExperience developing and using student centered, active and experiential learning strategiesExperience integrating cross cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives in course instructionExperience assessing student academic achievement of campus wide and classroom learning outcomesExperience with accelerated adult learningWork Shift (Hours / Days of work)VariesTelework (Yes/No)No.Internal ApplicantsAll current Minnesota State employees will need to log into Workday to apply for the position via the Jobs Hub.
