We are seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary operations of our concept located within a hospitality destination in Montgomery, AL. This role is a key operational leader responsible for overseeing kitchen execution, food quality, staff leadership, inventory control, and supporting restaurant service. Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations of a restaurant featuring all-day brunch and dinner service
Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost control systems to reduce waste and maintain profitability
Monitor and manage food cost, labor cost, and operational expenses in alignment with financial goals
Lead recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and development of kitchen staff (line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers)
Partner with culinary leadership on menu development, seasonal updates, and recipe consistency
Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and operational to avoid service disruption

Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

3-7+ years of progressive kitchen leadership experience
Proven financial acumen, including food cost, labor management, and budgeting
Strong leadership skills with experience developing and coaching kitchen teams
Hands-on, visible leadership style with the ability to "own the kitchen" during service
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
BOH foundation strongly preferred (line-level experience earlier in career)
