This is a competitive vacancy announcement advertised under Direct Hire Authority. Selections made under this vacancy announcement will be processed as new appointments to the civil service. Current civil service employees would therefore be given new appointments to the civil service; however, benefits, time served, and all other Federal entitlements would remain the same.
- Facilitate the collection, monitoring, and reporting of data collection for Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI), Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and internal reporting processes, including periodic performance reviews, corrective action plans, and other critical processes.
- Investigate, plan and implement corrective action for problems related to hospital systems safety of patients and staff and public relations.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulations employed by various regulatory bodies of state and federal government as well as non-governmental accreditation bodies.
- Auditing charts for appropriateness of hospitalization, continued stay, and quality of care against pre-established criteria.
