Tire Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Tire Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation, removal, and repair of new and used tires for cars, pickup trucks, semi-trucks, and agricultural vehicles. In addition to tire work, the technician will also be required to detail new and used trucks when necessary. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions and procedures accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Tire Installation & Removal:
  • Install and remove tires on cars, pickup trucks, semi-trucks, and agricultural vehicles.
  • Mount, balance, and align tires following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Inspect tires for wear, damage, and other conditions to determine the need for repair or replacement.
• Tire Repair:
  • Perform tire repairs, including patching and plugging, ensuring the integrity and safety of the tire.
  • Identify issues related to tire tread, sidewalls, and valve stems, providing appropriate solutions.
• Detailing of Vehicles:
  • Detail new and used trucks when required, ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and presentable.
• Safety & Procedure Adherence:
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Ensure all tire work is done in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in tire installation, removal, and repair, preferably with a variety of vehicle types (cars, trucks, agricultural machinery).
• Basic knowledge of tire balancing, alignment, and repair techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to perform vehicle detailing tasks when required.
• Good communication skills for customer interaction.
• Must be safety-conscious and follow all safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a tire shop or automotive maintenance.
• Knowledge of agricultural machinery tires.
