Position Overview Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing second shift production operations within our Mesa-one production site; ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met. You will lead production teams, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while supporting XNRGY’s rapid growth and expansion. This role requires proven leadership in manufacturing environments, hands‑on HVAC expertise with compressor systems, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with safety and quality excellence. Production Leadership & Team Management Lead and manage production teams, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and motivating team members to maximize productivity and quality Ensure labor efficiency and resource allocation (people, equipment, and materials) to meet production goals Collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams to achieve production targets Mentor, coach, and develop employees to foster engagement and performance excellence Operational Execution & Process Control Meet and maintain safety, quality, and production metrics across the Mesa site Monitor and enforce quality control processes to ensure all products meet established standards Investigate and address production or quality issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions Generate regular performance reports, including productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics, for management review New Line Implementation & Continuous Improvement Lead the implementation of new production lines to support capacity expansion and product innovation Promote and apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes Identify opportunities for process optimization and oversee implementation of improvements to drive operational excellence HVAC‑Specific Expertise Provide input and recommendations to enhance chiller production processes Troubleshoot chiller unit performance issues as required Support engineering and production teams with technical expertise in compressorized HVAC systems Collaboration & Resource Management Work closely with engineering, inventory control, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability and minimise waste Align with cross‑functional departments to support operational and organisational goals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred 7+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with proven expertise in commercial HVAC systems (compressor equipment required) Demonstrated success managing production teams and achieving operational targets in HVAC, Automotive, or similar industries Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices Ability to troubleshoot chiller units and compressor HVAC systems Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team development skills Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards Benefits Competitive salary with bonus incentive plan Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Employee assistance programme Paid time off A dynamic team, open to change and innovation Modern state‑of‑the‑art facility with Industry 4.0 technology in Mesa, Arizona Fast‑growing, dynamic environment where entrepreneurial spirit is recognised Inclusive and diversity‑friendly workplace Career advancement opportunities – XNRGY promotes internal growth Electric charging stations available on‑site At XNRGY Climate Systems, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
