Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) Leader

As a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) Leader at Valley Manor, you will play a crucial role in leading our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. With 180 beds and participation in Medicare and Medicaid, our large facility is committed to providing exceptional care and treatment to our patients. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our high standards of care are met, and our patients receive the best possible outcome.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide exceptional patient care
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility goals
Conduct assessments, identify nursing needs, and develop individualized care plans for patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medications, treatments, and test results
Monitor and maintain inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license (and any other required licenses or certifications)
Minimum experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting (degree of experience will vary based on individual qualifications)
Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Excellent clinical skills , with the ability to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment , with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflows
