Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $3400 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 24 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience within the last 2 years.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: High-acuity experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: High-acuity patient and cardio experience preferred.

Unit Details: Fast-paced, high-acuity unit. Patient ratios: 1:4-5 [Days], 1:5-6 [Nights]. Cares for cardio, trauma, post-op, and complex wound and burn patients. Uses IVs, PCA, epidurals, air mattresses, ketamine drips, tube feeding, NGs, drains, foleys, heparin drips, wound vac dressings, specialty beds, central lines, PICCs, PEG, trachs, chest tubes, and JPs.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
