Company Description Lewis River Golf is a scenic golf destination that first opened in 1967 and has since grown into a full 18-hole course. The property has been thoughtfully rebuilt and enhanced over the years, adding challenge, distance, and beauty to the original layout. In addition to golf, Lewis River Golf features a riverfront restaurant with patio seating, offering guests a relaxed and picturesque dining experience. Role Description The Venue Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Lewis River Golf in Woodland, WA. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing events such as weddings, corporate functions, and celebrations from initial inquiry through event completion. Day-to-day tasks include managing event bookings and calendars, conducting on-site tours, preparing proposals and contracts, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. The Venue Coordinator will collaborate with food and beverage staff, and external vendors to organize room layouts, menus, and other venue needs. This role also involves overseeing event setup and breakdown, monitoring event flow, ensuring guest satisfaction, handling last-minute changes, and supporting basic administrative duties such as invoicing, reporting, and maintaining accurate event records.
Qualifications
- Experience in event coordination or hospitality operations, ideally in venues such as golf courses, restaurants, hotels, or dedicated event spaces.
- Strong client-facing skills, including customer service, relationship building, and clear verbal and written communication.
- Organizational and time management abilities, including scheduling, multitasking across multiple events, and attention to detail.
- Basic administrative and technology skills, including proficiency with email, calendars, spreadsheets, and event management or reservation systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary teams, and outside vendors to deliver seamless events.
- Capacity to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with light physical tasks related to event setup and breakdown, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality, event management, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in wedding or special event coordination, and familiarity with golf or outdoor venues, is a plus.
