Oracle DBADuration: 12 Months (CTH)Location: Plano, TXJob Overview:Highly proficient at installation and configuration of complex DBMS (distributed, midrange, mainframe) environments, creates and maintains a database, objects and backup/recovery/load scripts.Proficiency at capacity planning, database and SQL tuning.Proficiently troubleshoot complex problems.Required skills:7 to 10 years of Oracle DBA experience with strong understanding of databases and oracle engineered systems like Exadata, ZFS and ZDLRAExpert experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as a Systems/Infrastructure Database Administrator requiredStrong experience working with Oracle versions 11gR1/2, 12c and 19c in a Linux environmentExperience with Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance is a plusStrong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels)Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Active Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Golden Gate replicationExperience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)Experience architecting, supporting and implementing advanced, strategic database management systemDemonstrated ability to drive Agile development and implement automated process to improve database system reliabilityAdvanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, with a background in systems and network administrationProficient development skills in a dynamic programming language such as Python, JavaScript, .NET, Perl, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting. Also experience with Microservices is desirable
