divh2Registered Nurse/h2pIts fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what theyre doing!/ppWere committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business./ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3ulliProvide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations/liliObtain medical history, patient vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care/liliPerform procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, urinary straight cath), administer medications (oral, rectal, IM, and IV), and assist the physician with total patient care within the scope of practice/liliRemaining knowledgeable in pediatric pharmacology/liliBe an integral part of the patient care team and assist with patient care within the scope of practice/liliPerform monthly quality control checks in the office/liliAssist in performing quality control testing in the lab/liliAbility to assist the physician with patient care, positioning, and comfort during the x-ray process/liliKeep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization tools and equipment as required/liliPractice standard safety practices and precautions/liliHelps patients in distress by responding to emergencies and promptly notifies physician/liliEstablish effective rapport with clients, families, other employees, and physicians/liliMaintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes to management team/liliContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed/liliMaintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations/liliMaintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential in compliance with HIPAA regulations/liliUpdates knowledge by participating in continuing education requirements and opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations/liliEnhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and challenging requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments/liliAssisting patients with complaints and taking an active role in service recovery when needed/liliAssist physician with a focus on efficiency metrics to improve urgent care flow and throughput (Arrival to Room, Arrival to Medication Administration, Disposition to Discharge, Discharge Length of Stay)/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliPediatric experience is required; Pediatric ER, Pediatric hospital unit, or Pediatrics Urgent Care Experience preferred/liliActive state nursing license or active compact state licensure from the state you reside/liliPrior experience and competency with nursing procedures (not limited to IV placement, urinary straight catheterization, and medication administration)/liliCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended/liliKnowledge of medical practice and terminology, clinics processes, and procedures/liliKnowledge of medical equipment and instruments/liliSkill in rapid assessment of the critical presentation of the pediatric population/liliAbility to use sound reasoning and judgment and act calmly in emergencies/liliAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally/liliPossess the following qualifications: Energetic, Highly Motivated, Customer Service Focus, Positive Attitude, Confidentiality, Teamwork, and Professionalism/li/ulh3EEO Statement/h3pPM Pediatric Care is an equal employment opportunity employer.
