Travel Radiologic Technologist - Radiology - $1,942 per week

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The role is a 10‑hour shift with a full‑time travel assignment. Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed. Follow physician orders for which area of the patient's body requires imaging. Correctly position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to an appropriate position. Use appropriate radiation protection precautions to prevent unnecessary exposure to yourself and patients. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech. Must possess BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state‑specific licensing when required. Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty, and have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
