Job Description

Position Title: Material Handler

Wage: $16.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group has a great Material Handler position available at a company in Canton, MO. This position has the opportunity for hire.


Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain records of materials received and shipped.
- Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods.
- Receives, distribute, and stores products.
- Ability to attend and complete forklift training prior to operating forklift operation.
- Package and prepare orders for shipping, label containers, or products.

Material Handler Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse, production, or shipping/receiving preferred.
- Ability to accurately maintain records and complete required documentation.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and shipment accuracy.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift experience preferred; training provided).
- Willingness to complete and pass forklift training prior to operating equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
