PRN Hospitalist Physician
West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks a PRN Hospitalist Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Duties include practicing in the areas of Internal Medicine, providing excellent patient care, and being actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications include an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, State medical license, DEA registration by start date, completion of an Internal Medicine residency program, and board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine.

The hospital serves a multi-county area with a wide range of healthcare services, including a 24/7, 13-bed Emergency Department; Surgical Care Clinic; Orthopedic Clinic; Cancer Center; Primary Care Clinic; and the only Birthing Center in a five-county region. Petersburg is a progressive and picturesque community located in the Potomac Highlands; it's nestled in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia and known for its world-class trout fishing and hiking opportunities.
