This is your opportunity to help provide no-cost services that help individuals successfully enter or re-enter the local workforce.This role, you will be on-site in our Suburban Station office. This position is full time, 35 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Network and establish working relationships with appropriate personnel at the County Assistance Offices, Community Agencies, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Organizations and other agencies as needed.Provide case management to assigned caseload; complete case notes and follow up services regarding employment, retention and termination; recommend, promote and schedule Center services for customersWork with the Integrated Job Development Team and its job developers to transition customers to appropriate employmentAssist all Center customers in any of the welcome, skills and employment functions; assess each person's proficiency with using computers, assist in registration for JobGatewayProvide advice to customers on job finding and skill development to assist customer with becoming more competitive in the job marketDevelop customized job search plan for each job seeker assigned.Other duties as assignedSkills & Requirements:Bachelor's degree with human service/case management experience preferred; Appropriate experience or special training may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree.Demonstrated ability to problem solve and collaborate with a variety of customers including but not limited to the Workforce Initiatives industry.What's in it for you:401(k), with company matchTuition assistance: Available to all employees with at least one year of service, for those enrolled in job-related, accredited, degree or certificate level coursesHealth, Dental, and Vision coverageAmple paid vacation and sick time10-12 paid holidays per yearPre-tax commuter benefitsContinuing education, professional development opportunities, retreats, and trainingAnnual holiday party and office outingsWellness workshops and activities and access to the Employee Assistance ProgramDress-down FridaysEmployee referral bonusReimbursement of eligible mileage and travel expensesThe base pay for this position ranges from $43,000 to $47,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
