Daily Provisions offers a familiar, yet elevated, menu of classic dishes, including its signature crullers, all-day breakfast sandwiches with a runny yolk, and freshly brewed coffee and teas. Throughout the afternoon and evening, the restaurant serves chef-driven salads, made-to-order sandwiches, seasonal sides, and comforting dinner dishes like its famous Roast Chicken. A beloved neighborhood institution among New Yorkers, Daily Provisions has expanded to multiple locations total across New York, Jersey City, Boston, and Washington, D.C.Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Area Director for Daily Provisions is responsible for building strategy, managing execution, and driving results in each location. Collaboration and teamwork will always be top of mind, which includes developing leaders, balancing talents, preparing for the future, and nurturing culture. You'll represent Daily Provisions with Enlightened Hospitality. You'll partner with Union Square Hospitality Group's support functions, finding the best ways to execute our standards efficiently and effectively!Consistently deliver a culture of Enlightened Hospitality to guests and team membersComplete intentional visits to ensure standards of product, hospitality, compliance, and systemsBuild and lead management teams to achieve high performanceFoster team culture and growth, always building a strong benchLead, teach, and execute plans to manage healthy P&LsServe as the liaison between the home office support functions and the management teamsHandle escalated guest feedback and sets plans in place with teams to address the misses and sustain the winsProtect the brand through facility maintenance, active community engagement, and marketing executionPerform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success4+ years of leadership experience in a similar establishment successfully leading, developing, and nurturing management teamsMotivation, commitment to excellence, and a spirit to learn and lead!Critical thinking skills and a focus on problem-solvingGreat verbal and written communication skills, ideally in two or more languagesSolid financial and analytical skills with the ability to drive profitability while maintaining great guest and team experiences.Ability to travelAt Union Square Hospitality Group, extending Enlightened Hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.
