Clinic RN/Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) RN

WOC Clinic Nurse Responsibilities The WOC clinic nurse assists with the delivery of patient care in conjunction with the certified WOCN, ARNP, in the clinic setting. She/he assists with wound care, ostomy management, foot care, and other procedures. She/he assists in patient teaching and documentation of patient care. Medical Clinic Nurse Responsibilities The Medical Clinic Nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he assists in patient teaching and is a link between the medical provider and patients. The Clinic Nurse responds to a high volume of phone calls each day, in addition to meeting the needs of the patients with scheduled appointments working directly with a primary care physician.
