Gas Turbine Stress & Life Engineer

Sedalia, MO preferred | Remote options available Up to $135K base salary We're looking for a Gas Turbine Stress & Life Engineer to support advanced turbomachinery and rotating equipment programs focused on structural integrity, fatigue analysis, and lifecycle performance. This role will work cross-functionally with design, thermal, materials, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve the reliability and durability of critical turbine components.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform stress, fatigue, and lifecycle analysis on gas turbine components
• Conduct FEA analysis for stress distribution, deformation, and thermal-mechanical behavior
• Develop life prediction models and lifting methodologies
• Support failure analysis, validation testing, and root cause investigations
• Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve component reliability and performance

What We're Looking For

• 5–7+ years of experience in stress analysis, fatigue/lifecycle engineering, or rotating equipment
• Experience with turbine components, turbomachinery, or aerospace propulsion systems preferred
• Strong FEA experience with ANSYS or similar tools
• CAD experience with Creo and/or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of high-temperature materials, thermal stresses, creep, and cyclic loading environments
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required

Additional Details

• Remote candidates considered for the right fit
• Initial training onsite in Sedalia, MO
• Travel to Sedalia a few times per year
