Sales Engineer Position in Brazil

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Engineer based in Brazil. This role supports sales growth across EMEA and LATAM by bringing technical expertise into complex customer conversations. You will partner closely with sales teams to develop compelling presentations, demonstrations, solution narratives, and value propositions. The position focuses on helping prospective and existing customers understand how technology can address their operational challenges. You will support the full sales cycle, from discovery and solution design through proposal responses and customer engagement. A particular focus will be placed on general cargo and intermodal markets, with exposure to terminal and supply chain operations. The role combines customer-facing technical work, commercial collaboration, and regular international travel across EMEA and LATAM. It is well suited to a technically minded professional who understands terminal operations and can communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Accountabilities

• Partner with sales teams across EMEA and LATAM to support customer opportunities and develop technically compelling sales strategies.
• Prepare customer presentations, product demonstrations, technical solution narratives, and value propositions.
• Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their operational requirements, challenges, and objectives.
• Demonstrate relevant product capabilities and explain how solutions can address customer needs.
• Support the sales process from initial discovery through solution development and proposal responses.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical and operational solution approaches.
• Provide technical expertise across relevant product lines, with particular emphasis on terminal operating solutions.
• Support business development and growth initiatives within general cargo and intermodal markets.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, prospects, and internal sales stakeholders.
• Travel regularly across EMEA and LATAM to participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, and other sales activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements and proposed solutions are clearly understood and addressed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or comparable customer-facing technical role.
• Professional experience supporting B2B technology sales, ideally within software, supply chain, logistics, transportation, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of terminal operations, general cargo, intermodal operations, and/or marine terminal environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to understand complex operational requirements and translate them into compelling technical solutions.
• Experience creating and delivering customer presentations and product demonstrations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect product capabilities with customer needs and business value.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and other internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and/or French is preferred; proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and French is considered a significant advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across EMEA and LATAM.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and confidence working in customer-facing environments.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer engagement.
