Job Description Business/Data Analyst
Charlotte, NC
We are looking for a Business/Data Analyst with experience in stakeholder-facing requirements gathering, data quality, data governance, and data management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Gather, define, and document data quality requirements and business rules.
- Translate business requirements into precise, testable requirements, including cross-entity correlation rules.
- Define critical data elements, quality expectations, thresholds, severity, and ownership.
- Manage and prioritize the data quality rule backlog in collaboration with Data Quality Engineers.
- Use SQL to explore data, validate assumptions, and support requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, data stewards, and data owners.
- Support steward onboarding and training, including alert triage and resolution processes in DQLabs .
- Maintain documentation, traceability, dashboards, and stakeholder-facing reports.
- Monitor data quality alerts, issue resolution, escalations, and backlog aging.
- Prepare reporting on data quality, readiness scores, rule coverage, trends, and program effectiveness.
- Drive stakeholder adoption, communication, and change management for data quality initiatives.
Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
