DRAM Design Engineer - TPG

Position Overview Perform inverter ring oscillator simulations for the purpose of model and technology benchmarking, collaborate with process integration and modeling teams, and use the results to define standard cell architecture and critical design rules for future DRAM nodes. Design test structures that address technology power-performance metrics to be placed on new DRAM node test vehicles, develop and maintain key metrics for benchmarking each new design kit release, and understand DRAM sense amplifier design to provide incremental improvements. Leverage automation and programming skills with Python and JMP for data analysis and decision making. Responsibilities Perform inverter ring oscillator simulations for model and technology benchmarking. Collaborate with process integration and modeling teams to achieve cutting‑edge performance and power on new technologies. Use inverter ring oscillators to help define standard cell architecture and critical design rules for future DRAM nodes. Design test structures addressing technology power‑performance metrics for new DRAM node test vehicles. Develop and maintain key metrics for benchmarking each new design kit release. Understand DRAM sense amplifier design and provide key improvements node to node. Leverage automation and programming such as Python and JMP for data analysis and decision making. Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in a related occupation. Strong knowledge of semiconductor technology, design rules, and test structure design. Experience with CMOS device fabrication processes and device physics. Proficient in the design, layout, and simulation of logic gates and small circuits. Experience with DRAM sense amplifier design. Proficiency in Python programming.
