About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to join their team. The CSO will be a senior executive leader responsible for driving the company's strategy, organizational effectiveness, and high-impact initiatives. This role requires a visionary individual who can provide direction and oversight for programs central to the company's operational and public-facing success. The successful candidate will be a key advisor, translating executive priorities into actionable plans, and ensuring alignment with statewide workforce and economic development goals. The CSO will also be involved in major strategic functions, including outreach, communications, legislative coordination, special projects, and cross-agency initiatives, while building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Applicants for the CSO position at the company should have a thorough knowledge of business practices, public policy, and program evaluation. The role demands the ability to develop and measure program outcomes, create and maintain strong working relationships with key leaders, and make sound, objective decisions. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in a similar role and possess outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to influence leaders at all levels. Responsibilities also include supervising staff, monitoring budgets, and ensuring that work adheres to quality standards and deadlines.
