Quick Facts Location: 1514 Jefferson Highway, New Orleans, LA 70121 Start Date: 08/31/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:00 14:30) Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT required Experience: Minimum 3 years in hospital Sterile Processing at level I or II Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $30.15/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Sterilize surgical instruments using sterilizers, Sterrad machines, ultrasonic devices (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed) Prepare and assemble surgical trays and equipment Maintain sterilization documentation and process compliance Assist with instrument tracking and proper storage procedures Support the surgical services team ensuring sterile techniques are followed Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams as needed What You Need Required: CRCST or CSPDT certification Minimum 3 years hospital Sterile Processing experience (Level I or II) Familiarity with sterilizer, Sterrad, ultrasonic equipment Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols Preferred: Previous experience working in a surgical hospital unit Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This contract is with a leading hospital in New Orleans, LA, providing essential sterile processing services for surgical procedures.
