Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact in a supportive school environment as a Speech Language Pathologist, working full-time with elementary students for a maternity leave coverage beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding November 18, 2026. This contract role promises an engaging caseload, focused purely on providing direct and indirect SLP services—without extra duties beyond your contracted hours.
Skills & Experience Sought:
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong clinical expertise in speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a diverse student population
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Your Role Includes:
- Delivering both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and documenting student progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintaining compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
- Focusing solely on your speech-language caseload, with no additional supervision requirements such as bus or parent pickup duty
