ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up and operate press brake (metal bending) equipment in alignment with quality, productivity, safety, and site efficiency standards.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer.
- Perform quality inspections according to documented quality plans and accurately record results.
- Identify and differentiate between material types (aluminum, 5000-series aluminum, steel, stainless steel, paint grip, galvanneal, galvanized) and adjust processes accordingly.
- Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner while following prescribed safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement efforts for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Assist in other work areas and cross-train as needed.
- Adhere to attendance, safety, and site standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and written instructions.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Capability to identify and work with multiple types of metals and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Adherence to safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and assist with cross-functional tasks.
